FAQ
Clear answers about the care we provide.
- What is a longevity doctor?
- A physician trained to help you optimize health across decades — looking at hormones, metabolism, body composition, cardiovascular risk, and prevention together, rather than treating one issue at a time.
- How does Decades work?
- Start with a free 20-minute fit call with our founder. If it's a good fit, you'll be matched with a Decades physician for a full consultation.
- Do you prescribe HRT, TRT, GLP-1s, or peptides?
- When appropriate — and only after a real evaluation. These are tools that may be used inside a personalized care plan, not products you sign up for.
- Do I need to know what treatment I want before booking?
- No. Most patients come in with goals or symptoms. Your physician determines whether a specific medication or protocol is right for you.
- What happens during the consult?
- Your initial fit call is a 20-minute conversation with our founder about your goals and whether Decades is right for you. If you move forward, your physician reviews your full history, recommends testing, and builds your protocol.
- What testing is included?
- The Decades Membership includes ongoing advanced bloodwork, biomarker monitoring, and body composition testing as part of your care. Your physician determines the right testing cadence based on your situation. Some specialty diagnostics may be billed separately.
- Is this covered by insurance?
- Decades is paid privately. We can provide superbills where applicable. Some testing may be reimbursable through your insurance.
- How much does it cost?
- The Decades Membership is $899/month billed annually, or $10,788/year. Your initial consultation is free.
- Who is this for?
- Adults — usually 35 to 65 — who want to understand their health proactively and make better decisions for the decades ahead.
- What makes this different from a GLP-1 clinic or hormone clinic?
- Those models lead with a medication. Decades leads with a physician and an evaluation. If a medication is right for you, it's part of a broader, monitored plan — not the entire program.
- Can I do a one-time assessment?
- We're designed for ongoing care rather than one-time assessments. If you'd like to understand your health before committing to a membership, start with a free consultation — your physician can help you determine the right next step.
- What if I want primary care too?
- Ask about Concierge Longevity during your consultation. It's an optional upgrade that combines longevity care with personalized primary care support.
